Privacy notice
This draft explains the information Carp360 expects to handle when someone visits the website, requests a demonstration or uses the platform. It should be reviewed and completed before launch.
Draft for review · 10 September 2026
Information we may collect
We may receive contact details and organisation information submitted through a demo request, together with the message and preferences included in that enquiry. When the platform is used, a fishery may create records about stock, captures, weights, welfare observations, movements, provenance and mortality. We will only ask for information needed to provide the relevant service.
How information may be used
Information may be used to respond to enquiries, provide and secure Carp360, maintain fishery records, improve product performance, investigate support requests and meet legal or operational obligations. Fishery stock information is intended to remain private to the relevant fishery and is not published as a public catch diary.
Sharing and service providers
We may share information with carefully selected service providers that help us host, secure, support or analyse the service, under appropriate contractual controls. We do not sell fishery stock information. The final notice will list relevant subprocessors and explain any transfers outside the UK or European Economic Area.
Retention and security
We intend to retain information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, the customer relationship and applicable legal requirements. Access controls, authentication, backups and monitoring will be used to protect data, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Depending on the applicable law and the role in which information is processed, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or export personal information, and to object to certain processing. The final notice will identify the responsible entity and the contact route for exercising those rights.
