One fish. One identity.
A PIT tag gives each carp a permanent electronic identity. Carp360 turns that number into a living record — so a scan on the bank resolves instantly to the right fish, its history and its current condition.

Certainty at the point of capture.
Visual recognition is powerful but subjective. A PIT read is definitive — it removes ambiguity from every weight, treatment and stocktake entry.
Scan resolves to a record
Read a tag and the matching Carp360 record opens immediately, including recent captures and open observations.
Verified, not assumed
Every entry made against a scanned fish is stamped PIT VERIFIED, so you always know which data was confirmed electronically.
Unknown tags flagged
A tag that is not in your stock list is held for review rather than silently creating a duplicate or mismatched record.
Scan. Identify. Done.
Carp360 is designed to work alongside compatible PIT reader workflows, so the tag number moves from the reader into the record without retyping.
Direct capture from the reader
Tag numbers arrive in Carp360 as they are read. No transcription, no misread digits.
Flexible connectivity
The platform is being built to support readers that connect over Bluetooth, USB, serial or as a HID keyboard device.
Manual fallback
When a reader is unavailable, a tag number can be entered by hand and is clearly marked as manually recorded.

The record does the rest.
A verified identity is the starting point. Once a fish is known, every new observation strengthens its lifetime picture.
Weight against history
A new weight is immediately compared with previous verified weights and the fish’s expected growth.
Capture interval awareness
Carp360 knows how often this fish is usually encountered and highlights unusual patterns.
Open welfare items
If the fish has an unresolved observation, it is shown at the moment of capture, not buried in a report.

Electronic first. Visual to assist.
Where a fish is untagged or a reader isn't to hand, Carp360 Vision can suggest a likely visual match. Visual matches are always labelled separately from PIT-verified records.
